Job summary

Motion Recruitment is seeking a Lead DevOps Engineer in Chicago to own the enterprise developer tools ecosystem and shape the future of software delivery. You will partner with Engineering, Security, Infrastructure and Architecture to define tooling standards, streamline workflows, and scale platform initiatives across the organization.

You will drive automation, improve developer experience, and ensure teams have robust tools to build and deploy software efficiently.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in DevOps/Platform Eng or similar technical discipline.
• Experience with Microsoft Azure cloud services and Azure DevOps tools.
• Proven ability to design and maintain automated CI/CD workflows.

Responsibilities

• Own the enterprise developer tools ecosystem and drive automation initiatives.
• Define tooling standards and streamline development workflows across teams.
• Partner with Engineering, Security, Infrastructure, and Architecture to enable scalable delivery.
