Job summary

EPAM Systems is seeking an experienced DevOps/Platform Engineer to join a high-impact engagement in Houston, TX. You will design, implement, and operate secure AWS infrastructure with a strong focus on networking, security, and cloud operations best practices.

You will build IaC using Terraform as the primary tool and support CloudFormation and AWS CDK as needed. You will develop automation scripts in Python, PowerShell, and Bash, and architect HPC compute workloads leveraging Auto Scaling

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience with AWS services, including security, networking, and cloud operations fundamentals.
• Proficiency in Python for scripting and automation; working knowledge of PowerShell and Bash.
• Terraform expertise; familiarity with CloudFormation and/or AWS CDK is a plus.
• Experience with HPC or large-scale parallel compute environments (Auto Scaling Groups, AWS Batch).
• Monitoring, logging, and cost-tracking for cloud infrastructure; Docker/ECR experience.

Responsibilities
