As the Applied Science DevOps Lead, you’ll guide the platform sub-team, own technical direction, plan and execute core initiatives, and ensure reliable, observable pipelines for production AI training, simulations, and

Qualifications

• Experience leading engineers and delivering complex platform initiatives.
• 5+ years building data, simulation, or modeling pipelines.
• Strong DevOps ownership across cloud infra, CI/CD, monitoring and incident response.
• Deep understanding of distributed, data-heavy systems and orchestration tools.
• Clear, concise communication translating SME needs into platform capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead the platform sub-team; set priorities and unblock critical work.
• Manage and grow the team with 1:1s, feedback, and mentoring.
• Design, build, and scale physics, AI, digital twins, and spatial pipelines.
• Own production pipelines; debug, monitor, and improve uptime.
• Build scalable ML infra; data pipelines, training, evaluation, monitoring.
• Operate geospatial pipelines integrating diverse datasets.
• Strengthen CI/CD and infrastructure reliability across workloads.
• Coordinate across Applied Science and business; set multi-year direction.
