A leading staffing firm is seeking a DevOps Engineer for a 12-month contract in Charlotte, NC. The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of experience with Middleware technologies and a background in large corporate environments, ideally within the financial industry. Responsibilities include collaborating with teams to improve deployment processes and support production environments. Competitive salary of $50.55 - $58.55 per hour.

Genesis10 is currently seeking a DevOps Engineer with our client in the financial industry in their Charlotte, NC location. This is a 12 month + contract position.

Description:

Collaborate with application development teams and proactively provide operational assistance they need for their feature delivery
Manage a branch of code, continuous build, test, and deploy processes
Support pre-production and production environments
Troubleshoot build and deploy failures, and facilitate resolution
Improve speed, efficiency, and scalability of the continuous integration environment
Communicate status frequently to technology partners

Requirements:

5+ years of strong experience with Middleware including Web sphere, JBOSS, Apache, IBM HTTP
Experience with building and deploying support in a large, corporate environment, preferably within a financial industry

Desired Skills:

Team player that likes to work closely with support, development, and engineering groups
Comfortable multi-tasking in a fast-paced work environment
Ability to work cooperatively and communicate effectively across various business and technical groups
Ability to establish and maintain working relationships

Pay Range: $50.55 - $58.55
