Our client’s Azure Cloud Platform team is growing and needs Senior (L3) Cloud Engineers who can:

• Support and optimize their Azure-based infrastructure.
• Ensure scalability, reliability, and security of cloud environments.
• Help unify cloud systems and processes in line with DevOps principles.

Key Responsibilities (Day-to-Day Work)

• Manage and monitor Azure cloud environments (compute, storage, networking, security, app services).
• Automate infrastructure deployment using Terraform and PowerShell.
• Troubleshoot and resolve cloud and system issues.
• Maintain Linux/Unix servers and perform app deployments and backups.
• Work in a DevOps culture—collaborating with engineers, product managers, and designers.
• Monitor Active Directory, system performance, and security.
• Participate in CI/CD workflows using Git and standard SDLC processes.
• Handle infrastructure upgrades, patches, and performance tuning.
• Provide technical support and participate in incident response and root cause analysis.

Must-Have Skills & Experience

• Strong Azure experience (primary cloud environment).
• Broad understanding of cloud components: networking, compute, storage, data services, app services.
• Experience with IaaS, PaaS, or SaaS.

Tools & Scripting:

• Terraform – Required for infrastructure as code.
• PowerShell – For scripting and automation.
• Familiar with Git workflows and Agile/SDLC.

DevOps & System Admin:

• Background in Linux/Unix systems administration.
• Understanding of DevOps tools and practices.
• Experience with monitoring tools (e.g., ELK, Sumologic, Datadog, Sensu, Nagios).

Soft Skills:

• Can work independently and manage complex technical issues.
• Strong problem-solving, ownership, and communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment.

Nice-to-Have:

• Experience leading or mentoring Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) or Infra teams.
• Familiarity with AWS (as a secondary cloud, if mentioned in resumes).
• Degree in Computer Science or similar (though experience may trump education here).
