Job summary

A leading tech consulting firm is looking for a skilled DevOps Lead in Chicago, IL. The ideal candidate will have 5-8 years of experience managing configuration and release in both Windows and Linux environments, along with experience in cloud services like Azure and AWS. A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Computer Science is necessary. This is a long-term contract position with competitive pay and remote flexibility.

Qualifications

• Strong background in Linux/Unix with knowledge of Windows Administration.

Responsibilities

• Administrate modern, cross-geo Azure/AWS environments.
• Concurrently manage multiple deadline-driven tasks and projects.

Understanding of protocols/technologies like HTTP, SSL, LDAP, JDBC, Servlet/JSP, SQL, HTML, XML

Experience with Windows Server/Linux operating environment

Demonstrated initiative and flexibility

Experience with Continuous Integration/Deployment with tools like Jenkins, Bamboo
