Job summary

Northrop Grumman Space Sector is seeking a DevOps Engineer at Level 3 or 4 in Dulles, VA for a 100% onsite role. You will design and operate secure CI/CD pipelines, IaC, and cloud/on‑prem environments to support satellite and launch systems.

The role requires TS/SCI clearance, 3–5+ years in DevOps, and leadership experience; familiarity with Kubernetes, Terraform, Ansible, Python, and OpenStack is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 3–5 years of professional DevOps experience (or 5–8 with alternate paths).
• Active TS/SCI clearance at time of application, current and within scope.
• 3+ years of DevOps experience and 3+ years in a technical leadership role.
• Experience with Jira metrics reporting and OpenStack management.
• Experience with IaC (Terraform & Ansible) and Kubernetes.

Responsibilities

• Automate cloud native technologies and deploy applications.
• Configure and maintain infrastructure as code with Terraform/Ansible.
• Manage containers with Kubernetes and/or serverless tech.
• Operate in a SCIF environment following aerospace standards.
• Document deployment procedures and monitor resources.
