Job summary

KBR's National Security Solutions in Colorado Springs, CO is seeking a DevOps Engineer. This role combines cloud technologies with DevOps practices to enable scalable deployments on Kubernetes clusters and CI/CD pipelines. You will contribute to prototypes and mission-focused projects supporting AFRL and DoD objectives.

Required are an active TS/SCI clearance, a B.S. in Computer Science, and hands-on experience with Kubernetes, Docker, Git, and Linux.

Qualifications

Active TS/SCI clearance and U.S. citizenship required.
B.S. in Computer Science; other degrees with relevant experience considered.
DoD 8140 Cyber Workforce qualification (Security+ or equivalent).
2+ years in cloud engineering, pipeline engineering, or Kubernetes development.
Proficient in Kubernetes.
Experience writing Dockerfiles and containerizing applications.
2+ years of GNU/Linux commands, shell navigation, and Git.
Ability to research and solve complex technical problems independently.

Responsibilities

Build and deploy helm charts to Kubernetes clusters.
Develop GitLab CI/CD pipelines to build, scan, publish, and deploy containers and helm charts.
Troubleshoot failed deployments and pipelines.
Containerize custom applications.
Design high-level architecture for cloud-native networks and systems.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support a variety of tech stacks.
