Job summary

OpenTalent is seeking a remote DevOps Engineer with 4+ years of experience to join our infrastructure team. The role emphasizes Linux proficiency, shell scripting, and strong container orchestration using Docker, Kubernetes, and Helm.

You will implement GitOps workflows and work in air-gapped or restricted environments when required. The candidate should be comfortable with monitoring stacks (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK) and CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions).

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience as a DevOps Engineer or Infrastructure Engineer.
• Strong expertise in Linux-based systems and shell scripting
• Proficiency with Docker, Kubernetes, and Helm for container orchestration
• Good understanding of virtualization technologies (VMware, VirtualBox, or KVM)
• Strong knowledge of computer networks – TCP/IP, DNS, firewalls, routing, and load balancing
• Experience implementing GitOps using tools like ArgoCD, Flux, or similar
• Experience working in air-gapped or restricted network environments is a strong plus
• Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, etc.)
• Exposure to CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, or similar)
• Understanding of cloud and on-premise hybrid deployment architecture
