Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer with 5+ years of hands‑on experience designing, automating, and maintaining scalable cloud infrastructure and deployment environments.
The ideal candidate will have strong experience with AWS, Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform, CI/CD pipelines, Linux, and automation. You will work closely with software engineering, QA, security, and infrastructure teams to improve deployment efficiency, system reliability, scalability, and operational performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain scalable and highly available cloud infrastructure primarily on AWS.
- Build, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, or Azure DevOps.
- Manage containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes, including AWS EKS.
- Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar tools.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning, application deployments, configuration management, and operational processes.
- Manage AWS services including EC2, S3, VPC, IAM, RDS, ECS/EKS, CloudWatch, and related services.
- Implement and maintain monitoring, logging, alerting, and observability solutions.
- Troubleshoot infrastructure, deployment, networking, and production issues.
- Implement security best practices across cloud infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines.
- Develop automation scripts using Python, Bash, PowerShell, or similar scripting languages.
- Collaborate with developers to improve application deployment processes and developer workflows.
- Participate in incident response, root-cause analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Support production environments and ensure high availability, scalability, and reliability.
- Maintain technical documentation for infrastructure, deployment processes, and operational procedures.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, SRE, Infrastructure Engineering, or a closely related role.
- Strong hands‑on experience with AWS cloud services.
- Strong experience with Terraform or another Infrastructure as Code platform.
- Hands‑on experience with Kubernetes, preferably AWS EKS.
- Strong experience with Docker and containerized applications.
- Proven experience designing and managing CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong knowledge of Linux administration and troubleshooting.
- Experience with Git‑based version control systems such as GitHub, GitLab, or Bitbucket.
- Proficiency with scripting or automation using Python, Bash, PowerShell, or similar languages.
- Experience with monitoring and logging platforms such as CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, Splunk, or ELK.
- Strong understanding of networking concepts including DNS, TCP/IP, HTTP/HTTPS, load balancing, VPCs, security groups, and firewalls.
- Understanding of cloud security, IAM, secrets management, and access‑control best practices.
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, communication, and collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related technical field.
- AWS certification such as AWS Certified DevOps Engineer – Professional or AWS Solutions Architect.
- Experience with Helm, Argo CD, Flux CD, Ansible, or similar DevOps tools.
- Experience implementing DevSecOps practices.
- Knowledge of microservices architecture.
- Experience with GitOps methodologies.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Experience with cloud cost optimization and infrastructure scalability.
