Job summary

Truelogic, a nearshore tech partner in New York, seeks an experienced DevOps/Infrastructure Engineer to scale secure cloud infrastructure for U.S. clients.

You will automate provisioning and deployment, mentor engineers, and guide architectural decisions on large platforms. Candidates should have 5+ years in software development and DevOps, with Terraform, AWS/GCP/Azure, Docker/Kubernetes/Helm, and CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software development and DevOps practices.
• Design scalable, secure infrastructure and automate provisioning and deployment.
• Strong containerization expertise with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Deep CI/CD experience with Jenkins, GitLab CI or GitHub Actions.
• Experience with AWS, GCP or Azure and scripting in Bash, Python or Go.
• Ability to mentor engineers and drive architectural initiatives.

Responsibilities

• 5+ years working on software development and DevOps practices professionally.
• The ability to design and implement scalable, secure, and automated infrastructure using tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, and Ansible.
• Solid experience with containerization and orchestration tools like Docker, Kubernetes, and Helm.
• Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines and tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, and GitHub Actions.
• Experience working with public cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Proficiency in scripting and automation using languages like Bash, Python, or Go.
• Proven ability to mentor other engineers, lead technical initiatives, and make architectural decisions for large-scale infrastructure.

It will be great if you also know

• How to monitor and manage production systems using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, and Datadog.
• How to secure cloud infrastructure following best practices, including IAM roles, security groups, and network policies.
• How to optimize cost management and resource utilization in a cloud environment.
• Experience with logging and observability tools like ELK stack and Splunk.
• How to design infrastructure with high availability, scalability, and disaster recovery in mind.
• How to contribute to open-source projects or write technical articles sharing knowledge with the community.
