Job summary

Truelogic is seeking a senior software engineer for 100% remote work. You will craft high-quality software and expose it via REST APIs, event streams, or queues using Node.js, Java, Python, or .NET Core, with a solid stack like Express, Spring, or similar.

Docker and cloud platform experience (AWS/GCP/Azure) are essential, along with strong CS fundamentals and diverse data stores. You will join a fast-growing nearshore team serving U.S.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software development experience.
• Experience building RESTful APIs using Node.js, Java, Python, or .NET Core.
• Solid background with a modern tech stack (Express, Sails, Hapi, Spring, etc.).
• Experience with containerized development (Docker) and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).
• Strong CS fundamentals and data storage knowledge across SQL/NoSQL systems.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement high quality software and expose it via APIs, event streams, or queues.
• Contribute to the standard tech stack for chosen platforms and services.
• Develop and deploy containerized applications and work with cloud platforms.
• Understand and optimize data storage across SQL/NoSQL databases.
• Contribute to distributed architectures and microservices approaches.

Responsibilities

• 5+ years working on software development professionally.

• The ability to craft quality code and expose it through Rest APIs, event streams, or queues using Node.js, Java, Python, or NetCore.

• Solid experience with the standard tech stack for your technology of choice (like Express, Sails, Hapi, Spring, etc).

• Experience with containerized application development (Docker).

• Strong understanding of structured and unstructured data storage technologies (like: PostgreSQL, MySQL, MS-SQL, Oracle, Cassandra, MongoDB, Redis, Hadoop, DocumentDB, etc.).

• Experience designing and implementing applications and services on the public cloud, AWS, GCP, or Azure using PaaS platforms.

• Strong computer science foundation.

It will be great if you also know

• How to work with containerization-related technologies like Kubernetes, Apache Mesos, AWS ECS, or AWS ECR.

• How to create or work in a distributed architecture using Microservices and platforms like Eureka, AWS Kinesis, Kafka, and others.

• How to monitor production applications using APM tools like New Relic.

• How to manage and set up environments using IaaC (Terraform, CloudFormation, or CLI tools).

• How to set up and maintain a CI environment to enable continuous delivery.
