Job summary

KBR is seeking a DevOps Engineer for onsite work in Colorado Springs, CO. You will build and deploy helm charts, develop CI/CD pipelines, containerize applications, and design cloud-native architectures to support mission-critical programs.

Requirements include an active TS/SCI clearance, a BS in CS, and hands-on experience with Kubernetes, Docker, Linux, and Terraform. Knowledge of AWS/Azure and pipeline automation is a plus.

Qualifications

• Security Clearance: Must have an active U.S. government TS/SCI security clearance, which is something only a U.S. citizen can obtain
• Education: B.S. in Computer Science. Other degrees will be considered with relevant work experience or certification.
• DoD 8140 Cyber Workforce qualification (Security+ or equivalent)
• 2+ years of experience with deep knowledge in one or more of the following fields: Cloud Engineering, Pipeline engineering, Kubernetes development
• Proficient in Kubernetes
• Experience writing Dockerfiles and containerizing applications.
• 2+ years of experience with GNU/Linux commands, shell navigation, and Git version control.

Responsibilities

• Build and deploy helm charts to Kubernetes clusters
• Develop GitLab CI/CD pipelines to build, scan, publish, and deploy containers and helm charts.
• Troubleshoot failed deployments and pipelines.
• Containerize custom applications.
• Design high-level architecture for cloud-native networks and systems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support a variety of tech stacks
