Job summary

Spectrum internship program is a paid, full-time, 11-week opportunity designed to give you real-world experience in the telecommunications industry. You'll work in DevOps, collaborate with two teams, and participate in mentorship and professional development during the summer.

As a rising senior pursuing a bachelor’s degree, you’ll gain hands-on exposure to cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, security compliance, and automation, while building connections with leaders across Spectrum.

Qualifications

• Rising senior with expected graduation date between December 2027 and May 2028.
• Currently enrolled in an accredited College or University pursuing a bachelor’s degree.
• At least a 3.0 GPA in the current program.
• Authorization to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
• Willingness to travel locally to Spectrum intern development events and activities.

Responsibilities

• Support the XDG DevOps team by focusing on cloud infrastructure, security compliance, and automation.
• Contribute to Terraform-managed AWS infrastructure tasks, security tooling and automation, and documentation.
