Job summary

Charter Communications invites a motivated student to join our Spectrum IT internship program for an 11-week period this summer. You will work with two teams, focusing on department and intern cohort projects, and gain exposure to DevOps practices in a large telecommunications environment.

Throughout the internship, you will participate in kickoff conferences, professional development sessions, networking activities, and final presentations, while receiving mentorship and growth opportunities

Qualifications

Must be a rising senior with an expected graduation date between December 2027 and May 2028
Must be currently enrolled in an accredited College or University completing a bachelor's degree
Must have at least a 3.0 GPA or greater in current program
Ability to travel locally to Spectrum intern development events and activities throughout the program
Authorization to work in the U.S. without restrictions or need for future sponsorship

Responsibilities

The Commercial Services and Enterprise Platform team is looking for a DevOps Engineer who would be responsible for developing and maintaining automated deployment pipelines to ensure efficient and reliable software delivery.
Bridge the gap between software development and IT operations to enhance the software delivery process.
Collaborate with development and operations teams to streamline processes, enhance system performance, and manage infrastructure as code.
