Job summary

DeepHealth, formerly CIMAR UK Ltd, seeks a DevOps Engineer to join the Platform Engineering team. You will own AWS-based infrastructure, Kubernetes platforms, CI/CD tooling, and automation to enable fast, reliable software delivery.

You will focus on security, observability, and cost optimization while collaborating with development teams to improve reliability, scalability, and governance across cloud services.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience (required).
• 5+ years in DevOps, platform engineering, or cloud infrastructure (required).
• Hands-on AWS cloud services experience (EC2, EKS, RDS, S3, IAM, VPC).
• Experience managing production Kubernetes clusters (required).
• Experience building CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins).
• Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code, preferably Terraform.
• Scripting skills in Python, Bash, or similar.
• Solid networking fundamentals (DNS, load balancing, firewalls, VPNs).
• Security-conscious approach to infrastructure design and operations (required).
• Familiarity with observability tooling (Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain AWS cloud infrastructure with IaC tooling.
• Manage and improve Kubernetes platforms (EKS or similar).
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for reliable software delivery.
• Monitor platform health, respond to incidents, perform root cause analysis.
• Automate operational tasks to reduce toil and improve efficiency.
• Implement cloud security best practices including IAM, networking, and secrets management.
• Support development teams with platform tooling and onboarding.
• Manage container image pipelines and registry with security scanning.
• Maintain up-to-date documentation of infrastructure and runbooks.
• Contribute to cost monitoring and optimization across cloud services.
