Metropolitan Companies is seeking a DevOps Engineer to support and scale our internal development and infrastructure platforms. This role focuses on building and maintaining deployment pipelines, automating infrastructure, and enabling reliable software delivery across the organization.

You will work closely with development teams to streamline workflows from development through production. The ideal candidate has a strong technical background, enjoys a fast-paced environment, and is proficient

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, CS, or related field.
• 3–8 years of DevOps, cloud, or infra experience.
• Strong automation and scripting skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines.
• Collaborate with development teams to deploy and scale applications.
• Manage containerized apps using Docker and orchestration platforms.
• Implement infrastructure-as-code with Terraform or Ansible.
• Create automated deployment and release processes across environments.
• Manage environment configuration and secrets securely.
• Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting.
• Troubleshoot deployment, pipeline, and infra issues.
• Improve scalability, availability, and fault tolerance through automation.
• Partner with development teams to improve performance and efficiency.
• Maintain and evolve cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Develop scripts/tools to automate operational tasks.
• Document infrastructure, pipelines, and deployment processes.
