Job summary

CapTech is seeking a DevOps Engineer to join our engineering team and shape deployment, verification, and monitoring of applications and services. You will work hands-on and collaborate across stakeholders to improve CI/CD, environment provisioning, and development workflows, ensuring robust monitoring and alerting across diverse environments.

Responsibilities include building relationships across dev and ops, maintaining monitoring systems, and leading SDLC automation.

Qualifications

• Experience with Subversion and Git for source code management.
• Proficiency in Java or .NET.
• Proficiency in cross-platform scripting languages and build tools (ANT, Maven, MSBuild, NuGet).
• Experience deploying and administering CI tools (Jenkins, TFS, TeamCity, Bamboo).
• Experience creating infrastructure automation with Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible, Chef, Puppet.

Responsibilities

• Build strong relationships across development and operations teams to understand code, dependencies, and infrastructure.
• Build and maintain systems that monitor all aspects of the application and the infrastructure.
• Lead SDLC automation, configuration management, and release management.
• Be the team expert in deployment strategy (CI/CD) and automation.
• Contribute to software development as needed.
