Job summary

CapTech in Atlanta seeks an experienced DevOps Engineer to drive deployment, monitoring, and CI/CD processes across on-prem and cloud environments. You will partner with development and operations teams to improve automation and streamline release workflows.

You will contribute to infrastructure as code, monitoring, and tooling, while supporting Agile delivery in a fast-paced consulting culture with on-site client work.

Qualifications

• Experience with SVN and Git for source control.
• Proficiency in Java or .NET languages.
• Experience deploying CI tools (Jenkins, TFS, TeamCity, Bamboo).
• Infrastructure automation with Terraform, Ansible, Chef, Puppet, etc.
• Experience with Agile development.

Responsibilities

• Build strong relationships across development and operations teams to understand the code, its dependencies, and the infrastructure on which it runs.
• Build and maintain systems that monitor all aspects of the application and the infrastructure.
• Lead the definition of the team’s strategy for SDLC automation, configuration management, and release management.
• Be the team expert in deployment strategy (CI/CD) and automation.
• Contribute to software development as needed.
