Job summary

CapTech is seeking a DevOps Engineer to accelerate deployment, verification, and monitoring across our applications and services. You will shape DevOps processes, automate environments, and drive efficient CI/CD practices while collaborating with development and operations teams.

You’ll contribute to monitoring, alerting, and infrastructure automation, partnering with stakeholders to optimize development workflows and foster a culture of continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Experience with Subversion and Git.
• Proficiency in Java or .NET.
• Proficiency in cross-platform scripting and build tools (ANT, Artifactory, Groovy, Maven, MSBuild, Nexus, NuGet).
• Experience deploying and administering CI tools such as Jenkins, TFS, TeamCity or Bamboo.
• Experience infrastructure automation with Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible, Chef, Puppet.
• Experience with Agile development.

Responsibilities

• Build strong relationships across development and operations teams to understand code, dependencies, and infrastructure.
• Build and maintain systems that monitor all aspects of the application and the infrastructure.
• Lead the definition of the team’s strategy for SDLC automation, configuration management, and release management.
• Be the team expert in deployment strategy (CI/CD) and automation.
• Contribute to software development as needed.
