Job summary

Northrop Grumman Space Systems is seeking a DevOps Engineer - Level 2 to join our team. This role can be based in Aurora, CO or Morrisville, NC, with a strong focus on building and automating CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure.

The position requires active Top Secret clearance, Linux administration experience, and a background in Agile development. Ideal candidates align with build, deploy, and monitoring standards and drive automation across platforms.

Qualifications

Active security clearance (Top Secret) required or ability to obtain/maintain.
Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines and automation.
Administration experience with Linux or related operating systems.
Experience in an Agile software development framework.
Must be able to obtain Security+ within 6 months.

Responsibilities

Plan and evolve infrastructure to support rapid capability deployment.
Integrate development pipelines with automated testing and CI/CD frameworks.
Define and implement build, deployment, provisioning, and monitoring standards.
Ensure SCM, code quality, and test coverage for CI/CD pipelines.
Collaborate in an Agile team to automate deployment, monitoring, and infra management.
Create scripts to automate provisioning and management tasks.
Work with vendors and IT staff for issue resolution.
Monitor and support installed systems and infrastructure.
