Job summary

Maverick Associates is seeking a DevOps Engineer to join our Augusta, GA on-site team. The role focuses on building scalable cloud infrastructure in AWS, automating deployment pipelines, and maintaining Kubernetes clusters to support DoD and federal contracts.

The ideal candidate has strong Linux administration skills, experience with Terraform, Ansible, and Python/Bash/Go, and can work on customer sites full-time in Augusta, GA. Security clearance is required or the ability to obtain it.

Qualifications

• 5 years of experience in DevOps Engineering or Software Development; or 3 years with a Master's in related field.
• Strong knowledge of Linux system administration and troubleshooting.
• Proficiency with Terraform and Ansible configuration management.
• Knowledge of AWS services and deployment/management use cases.

Responsibilities

• Support development and deployment of cloud infrastructure in AWS.
• Automate deployment processes and ensure reliability and scalability of services.
• Manage and maintain Kubernetes containers and cloud infrastructure on AWS.
• Collaborate with development teams to integrate applications into the infrastructure.
• Monitor and troubleshoot production systems and resolve issues.
