Job summary

Enlighten is seeking a highly motivated DevOps Engineer to join our fast-paced development team in Augusta, GA. The candidate will have strong Linux administration skills and a background in big data solutions, configuration management, automation, scripting, containers, and AWS.

The role focuses on implementing infrastructure, automating deployments, and ensuring reliability and scalability of services onsite with Army customers. This is a full-time on-site position in Augusta, GA.

Qualifications

• Must have TS/SCI with CI Polygraph; U.S. Citizenship required.
• 5+ years DevOps or software development experience; or 3 years with a Master’s degree.
• Strong knowledge of Linux system administration and troubleshooting.
• Proficient with Terraform and Ansible configuration management.
• Experience with AWS services (EC2, EBS, S3, Lambda) for deployment and management.
• Experience with application and OS deployment, scaling, and management.
• Ability to develop in Python, Bash, or Go.
• Familiarity with Git, Flux, and other dev tools.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and agile practice understanding.
• DoD 8140/8570 compliance certifications or ability to obtain before starting.

Responsibilities

• Support development and deployment of cloud infrastructure in AWS.
• Support development and deployment of on-premise and portable edge infrastructure.
• Automate deployment processes to ensure reliability and scalability.
• Manage Kubernetes containers and cloud infrastructure on AWS.
• Collaborate with development teams to integrate applications into the infrastructure.
• Monitor and troubleshoot production systems and resolve issues.
• Continuously improve processes and tools for high availability and performance.
• Stay current with new technologies and industry trends; explore improvements.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
