Erias Ventures, LLC in Augusta, GA seeks a highly motivated DevOps Engineer to join a fast-paced development team. You will implement infrastructure, automate deployments, and ensure reliability across cloud and edge environments for DoD-related projects.

The role requires Linux administration expertise, AWS/EKS experience, and strong scripting skills in Python, Bash, or Go. On-site work five days a week with robust growth opportunities and security clearances as mandated.

Qualifications

• Five+ years of experience in DevOps Engineering or Software Development with a related degree, or three years with a Master's.
• A DoD 8140 / 8570 compliance (Security+) certification or ability to obtain before starting.
• Strong Linux system administration and troubleshooting skills.
• Proficiency in Terraform and Ansible for configuration management.
• Experience with AWS services (EC2, EBS, S3, Lambda) and deployment of infra.
• Ability to develop in Python, Bash, or Go and work with Git/Flux.
• On-site Augusta, GA, five days a week; flexible scheduling as required.

Responsibilities

• Support development and deployment of cloud infrastructure in AWS, especially EKS.
• Automate deployment processes and ensure reliability and scalability of services.
• Manage and maintain Kubernetes containers and cloud infrastructure on AWS.
• Collaborate with development teams to integrate applications into the infrastructure.
• Monitor production systems and troubleshoot issues to maintain high availability.
• Continuously improve processes and tools for performance and reliability.
• Stay current with new technologies and industry trends.
