Job summary

MDOTM is seeking an Intermediate DevOps Engineer to support, enhance, and maintain the platform infrastructure for Sphere, our AI-driven investment platform. You will help build reliable, scalable pipelines and tooling that empower product teams to deliver software quickly and securely.

The role focuses on CI/CD, IaC, containerization, monitoring, and security integration, with a collaborative, fast-paced, international team across locations including New York and London.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of professional experience in a DevOps or SRE role with automation focus.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and containerized applications.
• Familiarity with IaC tools like Terraform or Ansible.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and automate CI/CD pipelines (GitLab CI/CD) for fast, safe releases.
• Adopt and manage Infrastructure as Code across on-premise and AWS resources.
• Work with Docker and Kubernetes to deploy and operate services.
• Contribute to monitoring, logging, and tracing solutions and participate in on-call rotations.
• Embed security best practices into the SDLC and automate security controls in pipelines.
• Assist in managing database infrastructure (MySQL, MongoDB) including backups and migrations.
• Automate deployment, scaling, and health of core platform services for internal users.
• Document runbooks and standards; participate in design discussions; share knowledge with the team.
