Job summary

Lentech, Inc. is seeking a DevOps Engineer to advance automation across the security and lifecycle of projects. The role focuses on moving from manual evaluations to continuous monitoring, while enabling seamless deployments and environment configuration across teams.

The engineer will implement infrastructure automation using Docker, AWS, NiFi, and CI/CD pipelines to strengthen compliance and security posture within federal and commercial environments.

Qualifications

• Linux system administration experience in CentOS/Red Hat environments.
• Proficiency in Python scripting for automation and tooling.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps tooling (GitLab).
• Cloud experience with AWS or similar platforms.
• Volume-based automation and infrastructure-as-code familiarity.

Responsibilities

• Develop automation to shift from manual security evaluation to an automated, continuous monitoring model.
• Facilitate infrastructure management, CI/CD, environment configuration and deployment; support security posture.

Responsibilities

• As part of the Secure the Enterprise initiative, develop capabilities to shift from the current manual system security evaluation and authorization process to a new model that emphasizes automation, streamlined processes and approvals, continuous monitoring and assessment, and network data gathering across the entire life cycle of a project.
• The DevOps Engineer will facilitate infrastructure management, continuous integration, environment configuration and deployment as well as supporting the project’s compliance and security posture.
• The team member shall focus on delivering the automation that enables all the other teams to operate smoothly.
