Job summary

Lentech Inc. is seeking a seasoned Linux systems administrator to stand up, configure, and maintain Linux servers across a secure environment in the United States. The role emphasizes patching, monitoring, and aligning with security controls for civil, defense and intelligence projects.

Candidates should have TS.SCI w FSP, 3+ years Linux admin experience, and at least 1 year AWS exposure, plus hands-on experience with virtualization and scripting to support enterprise infrastructure.

• Active and current TS.SCI w FSP through MD.
• Proficient with Linux. Minimum of 3 years Linux system administration experience (within the last 3 years).
• Proficient with AWS. Minimum of 1 year of AWS experience (within the last year).
• Experience with patching and upgrading Linux servers and networking resources.
• VM experience
• Security + cert

Responsibilities

• Stand up, configure, and maintain Linux servers.
• Monitoring and patching/upgrades to standard networking resources (routers, switches, firewalls).
• Monitoring and patching/upgrades to servers and VM hardware.
• Assist and incorporate security compliance controls as applicable.
• Support documentation of non-applicable controls.
• Assist with installation of new or replacement hardware or software.
• Configure and integrate hardware or software with existing networked infrastructure.
• Assist with decommission and/or removal of obsolete, excess, or replaced hardware.
• Document inventory changes.
