Responsibilities

Kforce has a client that is seeking a Fully Remote DevOps Engineer to join their team. This candidate will be specifically focused on more of the legacy tandem system and will mainly be working on the pure operations side (change validations, incident response, monitoring (Grafana, Prometheus, etc), troubleshooting, etc. If they have GCP it's a plus, but a lot of the work will be in Linux along with monitoring. Overall, we are looking for someone who has been in a DevOps role at scale and can handle the tier 2/3 support from an incident response perspective.

Requirements

• 4+ years in a DevOps environment
• Strong experience in Linux and Cloud (GCP preferred)
• Strong understanding of monitoring and alerting (Grafana preferred)
• Skilled in change validations
• Well versed in incident response
  
  

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
