Position Overview

We are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer for our client, a B2B marketplace connecting brands, distributors, and retailers globally. The platform simplifies ordering processes mainly across Africa and Latin America, regions with traditionally offline transactions, and has recently expanded into the US.

The project is built on Magento, migrating to VTEX, and includes a .NET module for payments and internal projects. The goal is to create a user-friendly, globally accessible platform with diverse payment integrations and AI-driven features to enhance user experience.

Role Responsibilities

• Build and set up new development tools and infrastructure
• Ensure system security against cyber threats
• Diagnose technical issues, develop updates and fixes
• Monitor environments, analyze metrics, optimize performance
• Improve reliability, deployment speed, and platform health
• Optimize performance to meet customer needs
• Support operations for distributed applications
• Collaborate on release, testing, platform design, scalability
• Maintain service level objectives, secure access, troubleshoot logs
• Maintain monitoring and reporting systems

Technical Requirements

• Experience with CI/CD (GitHub, Jenkins)
• Hands-on AWS (CodeDeploy, CloudFormation), PowerShell
• Linux and Windows server experience
• Knowledge of AWS services (Lambda, Cognito, SNS, Secrets Manager, CloudWatch)
• MySQL and MSSQL familiarity
• Scripting in T-SQL, PowerShell, Bash, Groovy
