Job summary
Salesforce is hiring DevOps talent across levels to support enterprise Salesforce implementations. The role combines architectural work with hands-on deployment execution, collaborating with Delivery Managers, Architects, and client teams to design resilient DevOps solutions that scale under high demand.
Candidates will be matched to Senior DevOps Engineer or DevOps Architect roles based on experience, with travel to client sites and a focus on AI-enabled development workflows within Salesforce
Qualifications
- 10+ years CRM/DevOps experience with emphasis on Salesforce DevOps, release management, and CI/CD.
- Deep knowledge of Salesforce product suite (Sales, Service, Experience, Industries, Data Cloud).
- Strong environment and release management, version control, and deployment methodologies.
- Experience with Git-based workflows and branching strategies (Git Flow, trunk-based, feature branching).
- Experience with Salesforce DX, Metadata API, Apex, LWC, SOQL.
- Experience with SI/CD tools: Copado, Flosum, Gearset, Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitLab, CircleCI.
- Proficient with Docker image building, orchestration, and security integration into CI/CD.
- Test automation and quality tools (Provar, Selenium, JUnit, etc.).
- Strong client-facing communication and project leadership skills.
- Bachelor's degree required; Salesforce certifications preferred.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with client stakeholders to define requirements, deliverables, and expectations.
- Assess current DevOps processes and recommend improvements.
- Design and implement DevOps solutions aligned with customer needs and constraints.
- Drive selection and rollout of DevOps tools and practices.
- Lead design sessions and document best practices; support architects on larger engagements.
- Develop governance models for consistency across deployments.
- Provide governance of Salesforce projects and ensure successful CD across environments.
- Support pre-sales with technical deep dives and PoC development.
- Collaborate with Salesforce product teams to support client implementations.
- Champion AI-first DevOps workflows to accelerate CI/CD while ensuring security and performance.
- Travel to client sites as needed (50-75% for Architect level).
