Job summary

Salesforce is hiring DevOps talent across levels—from Senior DevOps Engineer to DevOps Architect—to support enterprise Salesforce implementations. This role blends architectural design with hands-on deployment.

You will collaborate with Delivery Managers, client teams, and AI-enabled tools to drive CI/CD, release automation, and secure deployments across environments. Travel to client sites is expected at the Architect level, with a strong emphasis on governance and best practices.

Qualifications

6+ years Salesforce DevOps or 10+ years CRM with 8+ years on Salesforce.
Strong knowledge of Salesforce product suite (Sales, Service, Experience, Industries, Data Cloud).
Understanding of environment and release management, version control, and deployment methodologies.
Experience with CI/CD tools: Copado, Flosum, Gearset, Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitLab, CircleCI.
Version control with Git, GitHub, Bitbucket, GitLab, Azure Repos.
Docker image building, orchestration, and pipelines, plus security integration into CI/CD.
Test automation tools: Provar, Copado Robotic Testing, TOSCA, TestNG, Selenium, JUnit, JMeter, ApexUnit.
Code quality/security tools: SonarQube, Checkmarx, PMD.
Performance monitoring: Salesforce Event Monitoring, CloudWatch, Azure Monitor.
Strong client-facing communication; ability to lead projects.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
Salesforce certifications (active or ability to obtain).
Must be a U.S. citizen.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with client stakeholders to define requirements, deliverables, and manage expectations.
Assess existing DevOps processes, tools, and practices, recommending improvements.
Design, present, and implement best-fit DevOps solutions tailored to client needs.
Drive the selection and implementation of DevOps tools and technologies.
Lead DevOps design sessions, architect solutions, and document best practices.
Develop and enforce DevOps frameworks and governance models for consistency across deployments.
Provide oversight and governance of Salesforce projects.
Ensure successful continuous delivery deployments across environments.
Support pre-sales activities, including discovery sessions, technical deep dives, and PoC development.
Collaborate with Salesforce product teams to support client implementations.
Champion an AI-first development/DevOps workflow to accelerate Salesforce development and deployment processes.
Practical fluency with AI coding assistants and modern DevOps ecosystems to maximize productivity.
Travel to client sites as needed (Architect level).
