Job summary

Amazon’s legal department seeks a talented transactional attorney to support the Devices & Services business. You will work with business development, product, and go-to-market teams as counsel on strategic partnership deals, including Appstore and Fire TV transactions.

You will structure, draft, and negotiate a range of agreements, advising internal clients on legal issues to balance risk with business flexibility and speed.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of post-bar admission legal experience.
• Juris Doctor and membership in one state bar or equivalent.
• Experience in transactional and technology licensing or equivalent.
• Experience structuring, drafting, and negotiating complex software licensing and other technology transactions.
• Technical background (CS/EEE/engineering) is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Structure, draft, and negotiate a range of agreements for devices & services products.
• Counsel internal clients on legal issues related to business operations.
