Job summary

The Computer Warriors, Inc. is seeking a hands-on technician to diagnose, repair, test, and document customer devices, including computers, phones, tablets, and game consoles. You will follow established repair processes and provide clear recommendations to customers.

You will balance technical work with occasional conversations at the front counter, schedule-driven Saturdays, and documentation duties, aiming for accuracy and excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least one year of customer service, retail, technical support, or related experience.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Comfortable learning to work with computers, phones, tablets, game consoles, and small electronic components.
• Strong attention to detail and willingness to follow documented repair and testing procedures.
• Ability to communicate technical information clearly to customers and coworkers.
• Willingness to ask questions, accept coaching, and continue learning.
• Ability to remain organized and productive without constant supervision.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to our Wilmington location.
• Availability to work the required schedule, including rotational Saturdays.
• Ability to protect confidential customer and company information.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose hardware and software issues across computers, phones, tablets, and game consoles.
• Perform approved repairs according to company procedures and quality standards.
• Install, update, and configure operating systems, software, and applications.
• Test devices before and after service to verify functionality and repair quality.
• Document diagnostic findings, completed work, recommendations, and customer approvals accurately.
• Recommend practical repair, upgrade, protection, or replacement options based on the customer’s needs.
• Protect customer information and follow all data-security and privacy procedures.
• Assist with customer calls, walk-ins, check-ins, and pickups during busy periods.
• Help maintain organized parts, tools, supplies, and repair workspaces.
• Continue to develop technical knowledge through training, research, and certifications.
