Job summary

Skyworks Solutions, Inc. seeks a highly motivated engineering intern to support DC/RF test, data analysis, and process monitoring.

You will assist experienced engineers, document PCM modules, and help improve inline monitors while contributing to fabrication flow improvements. The program targets students pursuing BS/MS/PhD in engineering or related fields, with strong data analysis skills and a GPA of 3.0 or higher.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a BS, MS, or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Computer Science, or related fields.
• Minimum 3.0 GPA.
• Strong data analysis skills (statistic based arguments).
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Self-starter with strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organization skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Assist experienced engineers in DC/RF test, measurement, and data analysis.
• Document existing process control modules (PCM) and their characterization focus.
• Improve monitoring of critical inline process monitors.
• Support Fab operations by maintaining and improving Yield web reports.
• Analyze and correlate test data to fabrication process.
• Develop and improve semiconductor fabrication flows and processes, in some cases.

Skyworks' Device Engineering Internships are offered in our Technology & Manufacturing (TMG) business group. Specific projects and responsibilities will be determined based on the business needs at the time of the internship assignment.

Desired Experience and Skills

• Knowledge of Spotfire, SharePoint, CAD preferred

The typical pay range for an Engineering intern across the U.S. is currently USD $29.00 - $49.00 per hour and for a Non-Engineering intern across the U.S. is currently USD $23.00 - $42.00 per hour. Starting pay will depend on level of education, the ultimate job duties and requirements, and work location. Skyworks has different pay ranges for different work locations in the U.S.
