Job summary

Mayo Clinic is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to coordinate nursing care, patient education, and transitions across the continuum in a cardiovascular setting. The nurse will support the Mayo Clinic Nursing Professional Practice Model and lead collaborative care teams.

The role requires strong communication, leadership, and critical thinking, with flexible hours across days/evenings/nights and on-call as needed for cardiovascular services. Full-time position based in Arizona.

Qualifications

• RN license in applicable state
• At least 1 year RN experience in an applicable care setting or 1 year LPN experience at Mayo Clinic
• 5 years RN experience in cardiovascular nursing (Cardiology: EP Lab, Cardiac ICU, Cardiac Progressive Care/Telemetry) or 5 years RN in a Device Clinic
• ACLS/BLS required upon hire

Responsibilities

• Coordinate nursing care, direct patient education and transitions of care
• Provide leadership and mentoring within the nursing team
• Ensure effective communication and plan, implement and evaluate all phases of care
• Possibly drive own vehicle as part of the role, per work area requirements
