Job summary

Rise Family in Mountain Home, ID is seeking a Developmental Specialist to oversee developmental therapy and supported living services, ensuring safe, high-quality care for individuals with developmental disabilities.

You will train and supervise Direct Support Professionals, administer assessments, and develop individual program plans, while providing direct services as needed. A Bachelor’s in a Human Service field and 1 year of relevant experience are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a Human Service field.
• 1 year experience with developmental disabilities or 240 supervised hours
• Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and Google Suite
• Reliable transportation and valid driver's license
• Pass background check

Responsibilities

• Supervise developmental therapy and supported living services to ensure quality care.
• Train and supervise Direct Support Professionals.
• Administer developmental assessments and develop individual program plans.
• Provide direct services as needed to clients.
• Maintain DDA compliance with Health & Welfare and Medicaid rules.
• Participate in team meetings and coordinate with families and professionals.
• Provide ongoing evaluations and consult on care plans.
• Assist with Quality Assurance and file reviews.
• Ensure individuals receiving services are treated with dignity and respect.
