You will support skill development in natural settings, provide transportation to activities, follow the child’s plan of service, and maintain documentation. Minimum qualifications include 18+, six months' supervised experience, coursework, CPR/First Aid, and background check.

As a Community-Based Supports DSP, you will help children with developmental disabilities become more independent and integrated in their community. You will provide the supports a child needs to explore their interests, participate in age-appropriate community activities alongside typically developing peers, and practice skills learned in other therapeutic settings. Community-Based Supports must not replace services provided in school or therapy, and must not supplant the role of the primary caregiver.
