Berkshire Family and Individual Resources Inc is seeking a Developmental Specialist to work in a site-based day program, providing direct support to individuals with developmental disabilities. You will help develop independence, communication, and daily living skills under ISP guidance and PBIS plans.

Responsibilities include crisis intervention, safety, documentation, transportation, and participating in trainings with the Day Services team.

Qualificações

• Must be at least 18 years old and able to read, write and communicate effectively.
• Completion of background checks including CORI, SORI, fingerprinting, LEIE and driving record.
• Valid US driver's license and access to a vehicle.

Responsabilidades

• Work with 1–7 individuals in a site-based day program providing skill training.
• Assist with independent living, communication, behavior and self-help skills.
• Follow ISP and Positive Behavior Supports plans and document progress.
• Provide crisis intervention, first aid/CPR when needed and ensure safety.
• Maintain accurate timesheets and participate in trainings and meetings.
• Transport participants as needed and adhere to safety policies.
