Job summary

American Training is seeking an energetic Developmental Specialist to create engaging activities for Guests with developmental and intellectual disabilities at our Andover Day Program. You will work with a collaborative team to support individual goals and ensure documentation is timely.

Schedule is Monday through Friday, 8am to 4pm. We offer competitive benefits including medical and dental coverage, disability and life insurance, paid time off, holidays, and ongoing training in a FUN work

Qualifications

• At least one year experience working with similar population.
• Ability to demonstrate empathy, patience, and compassion.
• Satisfactory CORI and DDS fingerprinting; valid State driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Work cohesively with team to establish individual goals based on Guests’ interests.
• Create and facilitate activities that promote the goals, needs, and desires of each Guest.
• Maintain a regular caseload and complete documentation in a timely manner.
