Job summary

American Training in Wakefield, MA is seeking an energetic Developmental Specialist to positively impact the lives of guests with developmental and intellectual disabilities. This full-time day shift runs Monday–Friday 8am–4pm.

You will work with a team to set individual goals, create activities, maintain a caseload, and complete documentation timely. The organization offers comprehensive benefits and a supportive, fun work environment.

Qualifications

• At least one year of experience working with similar population.
• Demonstrates empathy, patience, and compassion.
• Satisfactory CORI and DDS fingerprinting and valid State driver's license required.

Responsibilities

• Work cohesively with team members to establish individual goals based on each Guest's interests.
• Create and facilitate activities which promote the goals, needs, and desires of each Guest.
• Maintain a regular caseload and ensure all documentation is completed in a timely manner.

Magic for our Guests with Developmental and Intellectual disabilities. What does a Developmental Specialist do?
