Job summary

American Training is seeking an energetic Developmental Specialist to create WOW! Magic for our Guests with Developmental and Intellectual disabilities in our Andover Day Program.

The role runs Monday through Friday, 8am to 4pm, in a full-time schedule. You will work with a dedicated team to set individual goals, plan activities, and maintain timely documentation while supporting guests with empathy and patience.

Qualifications

• At least one year experience working with similar population.
• Empathy, patience, and compassion demonstrated in interactions.
• Must have CORI and DDS fingerprinting completed.
• Valid State driver's license required.

Responsibilities

• Work cohesively with team members to establish individual goals based on Guests' interests.
• Create and facilitate activities promoting goals, needs, and desires of each Guest.
• Maintain a regular caseload with timely documentation.

What does a Developmental Specialist do?
