Job summary

American Training is seeking an energetic Developmental Specialist to create engaging activities for Guests with developmental and intellectual disabilities at our Andover Day Program. You will work with a collaborative team to support individual goals and ensure documentation is timely.

Qualifications

• At least one year experience working with similar population.
• Ability to demonstrate empathy, patience, and compassion.
• Satisfactory CORI and DDS fingerprinting; valid State driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Work cohesively with team to establish individual goals based on Guests’ interests.
• Create and facilitate activities that promote the goals, needs, and desires of each Guest.
• Maintain a regular caseload and complete documentation in a timely manner.
