Job summary

Pediatrics Plus is seeking Classroom Teaching Assistants to support developmental activities and daily care in our developmental preschool. You will work closely with Classroom Teachers to implement curriculum, supervise play, and assist with feeding, diapering, and clothing changes as needed.

We value collaboration, child-centered approaches, and effective communication with staff, therapists, and families. A background check and drug screen are required, with full-time hours available.

Qualifications

• Willingness to work with developmentally at risk children.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with a team.
• Engage in a fun, child-centered, mindful and authentic manner.
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders (staff, therapists, parents).
• One year of experience with children (preferred).
• Pass a criminal background check and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Assist Classroom Teacher by engaging children through curriculum implementation.
• Support playground activities and direct childcare needs (feeding, diapering).
• Collaborate to maintain learning environments that motivate developmental milestones.
• Keep spaces clean, safe, and sanitary daily.
• Respond to challenging behavior and help de-escalate with skills.
• Ensure treatment plans from evaluators are implemented; monitor progress.
• Toilet training and diaper changes as required.
