Pediatrics Plus in Russellville, AR is seeking Classroom Teaching Assistants to join a team dedicated to helping children succeed through evidence-based therapy and developmental preschool services.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Available Monday–Friday.
• One year of experience working with children (preferred).
• Criminal background check and drug screen required.

Responsibilities

• Ensure a positive emotional climate.
• Assist the Classroom Teacher(s) by engaging children through curriculum implementation and play.
• Collaborate with teachers to establish and maintain motivating learning environments.
• Maintain a clean, safe, healthy classroom and sanitize materials daily.
• Respond to challenging behavior and support the development of appropriate skills.
• Assist with implementing treatment plans developed by evaluators.
• Support children’s growth using intervention strategies from healthcare professionals.
• Toilet training and diaper changing may be required.
