Pediatrics Plus in Van Buren, AR is looking for a Preschool Teaching Assistant to support classroom activities and help teachers implement developmentally appropriate curriculum. You will engage children through play, assist with daily routines, and help maintain a safe, clean learning environment.

The role emphasizes teamwork, effective communication with families, and hands-on care. A High School Diploma or GED is required, with prior child-care experience preferred, and a Monday–Friday

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Experience with children in a professional setting preferred.
• Willingness to learn and adapt in a developmental preschool environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist Classroom Teacher(s) with curriculum implementation and play-based activities.
• Support playground activities and direct childcare needs (feeding, diapering, changing clothing).
• Maintain a clean, safe learning environment and sanitize toys and materials daily.
• Help respond to challenging behavior and implement intervention strategies.
• Assist with implementing treatment plans developed by evaluators.
• Contribute to each child’s growth using healthcare professionals’ strategies.
• Toilet training and diaper changing as required.
