Job summary

Air Force Civilian Service seeks two full‑time Developmental Inventory Management Specialists (GG-2010-09/11) at JBSA – Lackland AFB, San Antonio, Texas. You will start at GG-09 with development toward GG-11, receiving formal/on‑the‑job training and performing inventory management and program analysis duties.

U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain a Top Secret/SCI clearance are required; a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience is acceptable.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of the principles, concepts, and theories used in inventory management and the techniques of the occupation.
• Ability to gather data, evaluate facts, and recommend solutions from alternatives.
• Ability to prepare reports, documentation, and correspondence to communicate information clearly.
• Ability to assist with budgeting, procurement, and funding processes related to inventory management.

Responsibilities

• Perform conventional duties related to inventory management and program analysis.
• Develop assignments and training plans; progress to higher grade levels upon demonstrated ability.
