Qualifications

Five years of experience in health or developmentally disabled services or related fields.
Six years of full-time work experience plus two years in related health or developmentally disabled services, counseling, health care management, or social services.
Bachelor's degree plus two years of experience in related services.
An advanced degree in a social sciences field, nursing, public health, health administration, or related field with one year of related experience.
Experience substitution: Every 30 semester hours earns one year of experience; max 120 semester hours substitutes for four years.

Responsibilities

Interview and assess eligibility for Developmental Disabilities Service system and Flexible Family Funds.
Determine initial and continued eligibility for children with Flexible Family Funds.
Outline specialized services based on ICAP assessments and interview data.
Create and maintain a resource list of community resources and provider agencies within SCLHSA.
