Job summary

ViaQuest, Inc. is seeking a Program Manager for Summit/Portage County to oversee residential services for individuals with developmental disabilities.

This full-time position requires coordinating medical appointments, household management, behavior support, and community engagement. You will supervise Direct Support Professionals, monitor staffing, and ensure high-quality service and strong communication with families, the county board, and the care team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED and 3 years of experience in the field of developmental disabilities is required.
• Bachelor's or Masters level degree in a related field is preferred.
• Strong customer service and communication skills are essential.
• Supervisory or management experience is required.
• Displays strong communication skills and possess excellent decision-making and time-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage all services and supports for the individuals served, including medical appointments, household management, behavior management, financial services, benefits, etc.
• Use behavioral health interventions to improve outcomes for individuals served.
• Assist in the ongoing development of behavior support strategies and ensuring the implementation of these strategies, including providing training and assessing effectiveness.
• Collaborate with all members of the individuals’ service team to ensure great communication and customer service is in place.
• Supervise Direct Support Professionals and ensure they are thoroughly trained and providing the best possible services.
• Monitor staffing hours to ensure appropriate services are provided and coverage is in place for all shifts.
• Provide great customer service to individuals served, families/guardians, the county board, and all members of the service team.
