Job summary

ViaQuest seeks a Developmental Disabilities Home Manager in Indianapolis, IN for a full-time, on-site role. You will lead Direct Support Professionals, coordinate services, and ensure high-quality community-based supports for individuals with developmental disabilities.

You will supervise staff, manage shifts and scheduling, collaborate with care teams, and maintain strong customer service with families, guardians, and partners.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience supervising DSP preferred.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Demonstrated supervisory or management experience.
• Excellent decision-making and time-management abilities.

Responsibilities

• Ensure individuals receive quality services and remain engaged with the community.
• Coordinate and manage services for individuals, including medical appointments and household tasks.
• Utilize behavioral health approaches to improve outcomes.
• Develop and assess behavior support strategies and provide training.
• Collaborate with the service team to ensure clear communication and great customer service.
• Supervise Direct Support Professionals and ensure thorough training.
• Monitor staffing hours to provide appropriate coverage for all shifts.
• Deliver excellent service to individuals, families/guardians, and partners.

At ViaQuest Community Solutions we provide quality support and services to individuals with developmental disabilities in their homes.

Responsibilities may include:

• Ensure that the individuals we serve are receiving quality services and are engaged with the community.
• Coordinate and manage all services and supports for the individuals served, including medical appointments, household management, behavior management, financial services, benefits, etc.
• Use behavioral health interventions to improve outcomes for individuals served.
• Assist in the ongoing development of behavior support strategies and ensuring the implementation of these strategies, including providing training and assessing the effectiveness of the behavior support.
• Collaborate with all members of the individuals’ service team to ensure great communication and customer service is in place.
• Supervise Direct Support Professionals and make sure they are thoroughly trained and providing the best possible services.
• Monitor staffing hours to ensure appropriate services are provided and coverage is in place for all shifts.
• Provide great customer service to individuals served, families/guardians, the county board, and all members of the service team.

Requirements for this position include:

• High school diploma/GED
• Previous DSP supervision preferred.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Supervisory or management experience.
• Displays strong communication skills and possess excellent decision-making and time-management skills.
