Job summary

Murdoch Developmental Center, part of the North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services, seeks a Health Care Technician II to supervise HCT I staff and deliver direct services to adults with intellectual/developmental disabilities at Briarwood Cottage, Unit 2 in Butner, NC. Qualifications

• Experience with adults with intellectual/developmental disabilities.
• Knowledge of basic health care, hygiene and safety.
• Familiarity with behavior intervention programs.
• Nurse Aide I/II and EMT certifications as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Supervise Health Care Technician I staff and monitor care.
• Provide specialized direct services to adults with intellectual/developmental disabilities.
• Assist with health care, personal care and daily living activities.
• Provide feedback to staff and ensure shift coverage.
